Akumal Bay is the center of activity for the 5 bays that make up Akumal.
There are several shops, 2 grocery stores, dive shops, a museum,
an internet cafe, a travel agency and several restaurants. For accommodations
there is a hotel, condos, and one home. Turn north on the partially paved
coast road to get to more rental homes and condos, Half Moon Bay & Yalku Lagoon.
